HIROSCORE is designed for high school students preparing for the SAT. Many of our users are under 18. This page explains how we protect younger users, what parents and guardians can expect, and how we comply with applicable laws including COPPA and the Google Play Families Policy.
Who HIROSCORE is designed for
HIROSCORE is an SAT preparation tool intended for high school students, typically aged 14–18. Our primary audience is students preparing for the SAT exam. The app is not directed at children under 13.
Users under 13 may not create an account or use HIROSCORE without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that a child under 13 has created an account without parental consent, we will delete that account promptly.

We do not serve behavioural or targeted advertising to users under 18.

Minimal data collection
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service. No location, contacts, or sensitive data.

Parents can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data at any time.

COPPA compliance
HIROSCORE complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Specifically:
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent
If a parent or guardian believes their child under 13 has provided us with personal information, they should contact us immediately at privacy@hiroscore.com
We will delete any such information promptly upon verified request
We do not condition a child's participation on providing more personal information than is reasonably necessary
US State age verification laws
Several US states have introduced age verification requirements for apps used by minors, including Texas (effective January 1, 2026), Utah (effective May 7, 2026), and Louisiana (effective July 1, 2026). HIROSCORE complies with these requirements and works with Google Play's Age Signals API to provide age-appropriate experiences for users in applicable states.
Parental controls and consent
Parents and guardians of users aged 13–17 can:
Request a copy of all data held about their child
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of their child's account and all associated data
Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
Contact us with any concerns about their child's use of HIROSCORE
Content safety
All content within HIROSCORE is:
Educational and focused on SAT preparation
Free from violence, adult content, or inappropriate material
Free from advertising or commercial promotions
Reviewed to ensure age-appropriateness for students aged 14 and above
There is no user-generated content, no social networking, no chat, and no external links within the app.
Google Play Families Policy
HIROSCORE complies with the Google Play Families Policy. The app does not include:
Ads from Google Play Families-ineligible ad networks
APIs or SDKs not approved for use in child-directed services
In-app purchases that are not clearly disclosed to parents
Any content or features that exploit or harm children
